We are excited to announce that Talking Man was recently reviewed by Josh Maday for The Chapbook Review. In other good news, we are proud to be releasing Gay Play by Lonely Christopher, which will be available in July.

Tour dates for Gay Play will be determined for California and ChengDu, China.

Yeah, that's right, China; where because of a local interest in our chapbooks, we will be re-releasing several of our titles in a limited, bi-lingual edition (Chinese and English) this summer.  They will be available at The Bookworm in their Beijing, ChengDu and SouZhou locations, timed with the production of Gay Play in ChengDu.

Also, we are currently seeking translators, please contact us at smallanchor@gmail.com for more information.

On February 22nd Mike Heppner and Joshua Furst will be reading at the KGB Bar, 7PM

On March 1st, Talking, the last portion of The Man Talking Project.  In consistency with the other installments of TMTP, Heppner has double--dared himself with the release format of Talking.  It is a wild and courageous one, and the content flourishes the variety of perspectives offered on the experience, ambitions and fears of the creative mind today.

The Viral Lease by Mathias Svalina

"I am writing you a letter / in the weather reports / and my every prediction is wrong."

Small Anchor is also proud to announce that The Viral Lease by Mathias Svalina (with photography by Jon Pack) is now available for purchase at our bookstore.  A breathtaking meditation on the last eight years' bitter experience, The Viral Lease is seamless and surprising, a work of sincere transmission that is one part catharsis and several parts a grotesque relay of facts that serve as a warning sign: much damage at home yet to be undone.

"One thing I most admire is his ability to turn the poem toward places it should never go. He's risky."  - Zachary Schomburg
